2. If the use of PVC products containing oily foods such as fritters, fried cakes, fried fish, snacks and the like will cause the lead in plastics to diffuse into the food;
3. The use of PVC plastic products at 105°C will result in the dissolution of toxic substances. If used for more than 80°C for a long time, it will slowly release HCl gas. This gas is toxic to the human body.
In addition, bakelite (phenolic plastic) containing free phenol and formaldehyde are toxic to the human body, so bakelite products are not suitable for food utensils and food packaging. Electric jade (urine aldehyde plastic) is non-toxic and odorless at room temperature, but boiled in boiling water at 100°C or used to hold vinegar, there will be free formaldehyde precipitated harmful to the human body, and should not be used as a food packaging or a receptacle. Others, such as waste plastic recycling, are difficult to guarantee due to their complexity and are not suitable for food packaging.
The plastics that people use for food packaging everyday are generally varieties without plasticizing and anti-aging agents, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, nylon, etc. They are non-toxic. For example, commonly used food bags are made of polyethylene plastic, and milk bottles, cups, sugar bowls, tea trays, soup spoons, lunch boxes, etc. are all made of non-toxic plastics.
