Casulo is Portuguese, meaning "茧". We can use only one force, without any tools, to take out the whole bedroom furniture hidden in a small box in less than ten minutes. Inside the box is a large wardrobe for hanging clothes, a table with separate cabinets, a height-adjustable swivel chair, two stools and a high shelf, and a bed with a mattress. The two stools can also be used for storage, and the lid is opened; the drawers of the small cabinets under the table are also locked. The hangers are magnetized and the computer cables and wires are also protected.
Casulo's samples were designed in June 2007 by Marcel Krings and Sebastian Mühlhäuser of the International School of Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne. They hope that such a patented concept can be put into production as soon as possible.
After Casulo splits and packs it, it becomes a small box of 120 x 90 x 80 (cm), which is about 150 to 170 kilograms. This size makes it easy to pack on a standard European pallet, so it's easy to transport and store! However, if you have to separate it for transport, it's fine.
The designer said that this little guy "never wears out", this breath is not too small! This shows that they have great confidence in the durability of the materials used.
