The chain is an important link to ensure that the paper row can accurately take paper from the impression cylinder, and its accuracy requirements are quite strict. From the point of view of the stability of the operation, the chain row must always be tightly pressed against the sprockets on both sides of the take-up roller to prevent the jump from causing unstable handover, and the other is to generate noise. The take-up chain takes the paper from the last impression cylinder and has the same requirements as the other cylinders to transfer paper to each other.

1. The speed of the tooth pads of the delivery chain is equal to the speed of the tooth pads of the impression cylinder. That is, the handover is performed in a relatively static state.

2. The positions of the tooth pads of the delivery teeth row and the pads of the impression cylinder correspond to each other. Can not lead or lag, causing unstable handover.

3. The pads of the delivery chain should be on a flat surface. That is, the preconditions for the paper positioning state should be ensured during the handover, and the surface should have a large friction coefficient.

4. The movement of opening and closing the teeth of the chain in the delivery chain should be consistent. That is to prevent the local friction drive from being destroyed, causing the print to slip or tear.

5. The bite force of the paper collection row should be able to meet the printing requirements. Since the paper receiving chain directly participates in the printing process, its bite force must be large enough to remove the paper from the rubber cylinder, otherwise it will stick to the surface of the rubber cloth. However, if the bite force of the dental pad is too large, long-term impact will cause the position of the dental pad to change, thereby affecting the stability of the handover.

The best way to solve this problem is to make the paper completely leave the rubber cylinder, and then pass from the impression cylinder to the take-up cylinder, so that the take-up chain row has little biting force. At present, some equipment changes the impression cylinder into a double-diameter cylinder, and some equipment adds two paper transfer cylinders after the last group of impression cylinders.

From the perspective of the printing process, the printing pressure of the last group is still properly reduced, and the viscosity of the ink is also appropriately reduced, thereby reducing the transmission force required for the separation of printed sheets and improving the working environment of the take-up chain.

6. The number of chain links in the paper collection row is a prime number (that is, a number that can only be divided by "1" or itself). This ensures that all the links of the take-up chain are in uniform wear, which can increase the overall life of the chain.

7. The running stability of the delivery chain. In addition to the processing and installation guarantee, the stable operation of the delivery chain must also be guaranteed in design. Between the two chains, one row is the active one, and one row should be in an auxiliary position. The position of the two ends of the active chain must be absolutely accurate, and the position of the auxiliary chain must be absolutely accurate at the place where the paper is taken, and the other end can be in an automatic adjustment state, which can prevent the existence of internal forces between the two chains . The splint should be installed on the side of the auxiliary chain row, which can play a certain degree of cushioning effect.
