If the alcohol concentration is too low, the printed product is easy to bring dirty; the standard temperature of alcohol is generally controlled between 10°C and 12°C. Especially in the summer, the minimum temperature must not be lower than 9°C, the temperature is too high, and the plate heat is not easily taken away. If it is too low, the alcohol tank will be overloaded and condensation water will be generated in large quantities, which is not conducive to ensuring the quality of printed products.

Wetting powder - the main component of the surfactant, can improve the activity of the entire fountain liquid, the main role of the Arab resin adhesive is to protect the printing plate, improve the printing plate's resistance to printing. In addition, there are certain additives that suppress foaming agents. When using wetting powders, they should be operated strictly in accordance with the instructions.

Special attention should be paid to the fact that during the actual operation, water is added to the water tank, and alcohol and additives are added. When the control cabinet is added with alcohol or additives, water is also required. Water and alcohol or additives must be added at the same time, so that the basic balance of solution concentration can be maintained, which is beneficial to the stability of the product's dampening effect. Some operators directly add anhydrous alcohol to the fountain solution in a large amount, which may cause the solution concentration to be locally extremely unbalanced, which will affect the printing plate's resistance to printing.
