In recent years, due to the massive use of pesticides, the problem of pesticide residues in food has attracted much attention. Improving pesticide residue analysis and detection technology is an important means to solve the problem of pesticide residues. In the pesticide residue detection, the sample preparation technology is the longest and most prone to error in the detection process. Therefore, the development of sample preparation technology can improve the efficiency and accuracy of pesticide residue detection. This paper reviews several sample preparation techniques for solid-phase extraction, solid-phase microextraction, microwave-assisted extraction, supercritical fluid extraction, and gel permeation chromatography in the analysis of pesticide residues in food in recent years.
