Adhesive selection and dosage

Since decabromodiphenyl ether and antimony trioxide are all solid powders, they have no affinity with the fabric and cannot be firmly fixed to the fabric. Therefore, decabromodiphenyl ether must be adhered by means of the cross-linking adhesive. And antimony trioxide is firmly fixed on the fabric to obtain good washing resistance. It has been tested that the use of an acrylate adhesive does not affect the flame retardancy and the adhesion is strong. The higher the amount of binder, the better the washability, and it can withstand a good flame retardant effect after 50 washes, but the feel of the fabric is still rather stiff despite the special softening of the finish. This needs to be determined according to the different requirements of the product, in general, the amount of (150-200)g/1 can achieve 20 times of washing resistance.
