Jiming will switch to the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs as the managing director.

Peng Wensheng is responsible for China's macroeconomic and financial market research at Barclays Capital and is based in Hong Kong. The insider said that Peng Wensheng is currently going through the separation procedures, but when he officially joins CICC, it depends on when the separation process at Barclays Capital is completed. Another source said that Peng Wensheng will officially go to CICC in October.

According to statistics, Peng Wensheng joined Barclays Capital in June 2008. Prior to that, he worked for the Hong Kong Monetary Authority for 10 years.
