The original sizing system cannot be adapted, so it is necessary to transform the entire sizing system.

If the pressure is reduced, the cardboard is soft, and the paper weight must be increased. The speed of the tile line drops sharply, and the amount of glue used is large.

The modified glue line: the width of the glue line is greatly reduced, and the glue line is thin and neat; the pressure change of the cardboard increases, providing space for reducing the weight of the paper; the facial paper is not corrugated, which improves the flatness of the cardboard.

Once the sizing system is reformed, the quality of the glue needs to be improved to a certain extent because the glue becomes thinner and thinner. In the bonding process of cardboard, the quality of the glue itself plays the most important role. The quality of the glue directly affects the bonding quality of the cardboard.

Reform of glue formula

The production of high-quality paperboard with low-gram weight paper requires the cooperation of high-precision equipment and excellent performance glue. To determine the quality of the glue formulation, it can generally be considered from the aspects of adhesive strength, drying speed, viscosity, solid content, pH value and so on. Sufficient adhesive strength is the basis to ensure the function of the carton. Generally, the test method of high temperature heat change is used to test the adhesive strength of the cardboard. In most cases, the faster the drying speed of the glue, the better, generally manual bonding The process speed is slow and requires a long initial drying time. The machine's bonding speed is fast and requires a short initial drying time. Therefore, the glue configuration that matches the bonding process is what is required in production. Viscosity value is the main factor that directly affects the quality of adhesion. If the viscosity is too large, the coating of the glue is too thick, the amount of glue consumed is large, and the drying speed is slow, while the viscosity is too small, the coating is thin, and the drying is too fast, it is easy to appear Poor adhesion, so the viscosity should be checked in real time during production, and the formula should be regularly improved and adjusted to keep the viscosity within the ideal viscosity range. The higher the solid content of the glue, the stronger the adhesion, the faster the drying speed, the higher the production efficiency, the less moisture absorbed by the cardboard, and the produced cardboard has good hardness, so in the case of other technical indicators consistent, a high solid content is conducive to Improve production efficiency and maintain stable quality. In the process of glue formula reform, the most important thing is to constantly check various technical parameters and monitor the quality of cardboard in real time. Only after the product quality reaches a stable state for a long period of time can the final glue formula be determined, but This is not static, and quality monitoring at any time must be implemented for a long time, and adjustments should be made in time if problems occur.
