M-real Launches New High-gloss Recycled Coated Paper

M-real recently introduced a new high-gloss recycled-coated paper, Era Gloss, which is a blend of 50% post-consumer waste and 50% FSC-certified fiber.

This new product not only enhances the strength of the Era brand, it continues the success of Era Silk, and it has extremely high printing and environmental performance. It is understood that it has started to sell in the world.

Keith Livermore, business development manager for M-real UK, said: "Era Silk has passed a series of rigorous environmental tests since it was first introduced two years ago. To meet the market demand for environmentally friendly high-gloss paper, we have Era Gloss has been developed. Its printability is comparable to the world's top non-wood-coated coated papers, without any impact on print quality."
