One: acidity meter potentiometer and circuit troubleshooting

The main component of the acidity meter is a precision potentiometer. Due to long-term intrusion in acid and alkali and its high precision, in the event of failure, the electrode of the instrument should be checked first.

Detection method: If there is a spare electrode, the electrode can be replaced. If there is no spare electrode, check the circuit of the acidity meter for any problem.

If the acidity meter is short-circuited, its pH value is displayed as 7, and the millivolt value is displayed as 0. In addition, the normal zero-position output of the instrument is normal, and the circuit system of the instrument can be initially judged to be basically normal. The instrument's indication error can be measured using a DC potentiometer. If the pH value of the pH meter shows a value of 14 and the corresponding millivolt value of A is about 421, the indication error of the instrument also basically meets the requirements.

Two: Common faults and solutions in the use of acidity meter:

1. Turn on the power, the indicator light is off.

(1) If the instrument has a voltage output, check if the indicator light is burnt out;

(2) If the instrument does not have a voltage output, check if the insurance ALL is melted;

(3) If the fuse is not blown, check if the transformer of the instrument is burnt out due to a partial short circuit of the circuit.

2. Turn on the power supply. The meter indicates unstable or the pointer is not positioned.

(1) Open the instrument panel to check whether the meter head is acicular, and observe whether there is any foreign matter on the coil;

(2) Check if the instrument case is grounded.

3. If the power is not turned on, the instrument head indicates a large swing; open the instrument panel to check whether the parallel resistance welding at the input end of the meter head is firm.

4. The number displayed by the digital pH meter is unstable or drifting after power-on.

(1) Check that the connectors of the instrument are secure;

(2) Check whether the input and output voltage of the instrument are stable;

(3) Check if the circuit board of the instrument is eroded;

(4) Check if the operational amplifier in the amplifier circuit is burnt out.

5. The output indicator of the acidity meter is not accurate; the detection method is incorrect or the temperature and slope adjustment points are incorrect.

6. Test with two standard solutions cannot be positioned with each other; check if the standard signal generator is not accurate.

7. The acidity meter works normally when inputting directly, but the value is too poor when it is connected to high resistance.

(1) Check if the filter capacitance of the instrument is broken down;

(2) Check if the input resistance of the instrument field effect bamboo is low;

(3) Check if the instrument circuit board is wet or eroded.

8. Digital pH indicator displayed after powering up the digital pH meter

(1) The connector of the instrument is not in good contact;

(2) The digital display of the instrument is damaged.

9. The temperature, slope or correction adjustment knob on the pH meter panel is out of order; check if the potentiometer connected to the adjustment knob is damaged.
