Purchase of children's furniture should ask for invoices and instructions for use, check the product quality inspection report, and pay special attention to whether the hazardous substances content of the product meets the quality requirements of the national mandatory standards. The industry and commerce department reminded that on August 1, 2012, China officially implemented the mandatory national standard for children's furniture, "General Technical Conditions for Children's Furniture," which stipulated the safety requirements, warning signs, test methods, and inspection rules for children's furniture. It changed the situation in which children's furniture used the same quality standards as adult furniture. The standard clearly stipulates that all high-top tables and cabinets with a height greater than 600mm shall provide the connecting parts of the fixed products on the building and clearly indicate the installation and use methods in the instructions for use.
