Successfully developed polyethylene composite degradation film

Polyethylene composite degradable films were successfully developed by the Chinese People's Liberation Army Naval Engineering University.

This result uses a synergistic compatibilizer to improve the compatibility of the powder and the polyethylene, and the LLDPE and LDPE combined system to improve the mechanical properties of the film. One-step method has been used to complete the granulation of the compatibilizer, plasticizer and biodegradable masterbatch of the powder, and a suitable bio-photodegradable plastic film production process has been developed.

The inorganic filler was activated by a modifier, and a suitable blown film process of inorganic filler-filled masterbatch granulation and film was developed to obtain a polyethylene composite degradable film with high-filled inorganic filler.
