Weather resistant epoxy anti-corrosion coating with surface primer

Recently, China has successfully developed both anti-corrosion epoxy resin coatings, weathering resistance of chlorinated rubber coatings or acrylic resin coatings, and anti-corrosion coatings that combine both topcoats and primers. This coating is used once. It can form a thick anti-corrosion weathering paint film, it can reduce coating costs and reduce VOC emissions.

Epoxy coatings have excellent coating properties. The newly developed coating that has both a top coat and a primer function is a modification of an epoxy resin with an acrylic resin, and a microscopic orientation has been introduced into the coating structure. During curing and drying of the coating film, the epoxy resin component is designed to align the surface of the substrate to impart corrosion resistance and adhesion, and the acrylic resin component imparting weather resistance is aligned with the surface layer of the coating film. The two parts play the role of anti-corrosion and weather resistance, respectively.

The personage inside course of study thinks, this kind of coating film has equal or better than the weather resistance of coating film of chlorinated rubber coating and acrylic resin coating, its anticorrosive nature is the same as traditional epoxy resin coating, and the epoxy resin coating system needing top coating. In comparison, with less paint coating, VOC emissions can also be reduced by 10%, and the total coating cost is only 75% of the traditional system.
