Introduction of micro pipette:
1. Standard operation of micropipette Applicable liquids: water, buffer, diluted saline solution and acid-base solution.
1) Press to the first gear and enter the liquid level a few millimeters vertically.
2) Slowly release the control button, otherwise the liquid entering the pipette tip too fast will cause the liquid to suck into the pipette and the volume of the pipette will decrease.
3) When the liquid is hit, it sticks to the wall and has a certain angle. First press it to the first gear. After a pause of 1s, wait for the remaining liquid to gather, then press the second gear to press out the remaining liquid.
Second, the removal of viscous or volatile liquids When removing viscous or volatile liquids, it is easy to cause large volume errors. In order to improve the accuracy of pipetting, the following methods are recommended:
1) Before pipetting, pre-wet the inside of the tip with liquid, that is, repeatedly sucking the liquid several times to pre-wet the tip. It is best to stay for a few more seconds when sucking or discharging liquid. Especially for removing large volumes of liquid (such as 1000 ~ 1), it is recommended to pre-wet the tip before removing.
2) Use reverse-phase pipetting method: press the first gear when aspirating, slowly release the control button, and press the second gear when aspirating, some liquid remains in the tip.
3. Common Misoperations 1) When pipetting, the pipette itself is tilted, resulting in inaccurate pipetting (it should be pipetted vertically, slow aspiration and slow release).
2) When assembling the tip, the force is too strong, which makes the tip difficult to detach (no need to force too much, choose the tip that matches the pipette).
3) Place the pipette with the residual liquid tip flat (the pipette should be hung on the pipette rack).
4) Pipette a small volume of sample with a large range of pipettes (a pipette with a suitable range should be selected).
5) Press directly to the second level of suction (should follow the standard method above).
6) Use acetone or strong corrosive liquid to clean the pipette (should refer to the correct cleaning method).
