In view of the above drawbacks, if the following technological measures are taken, the book spine can be better avoided from wrinkling.

1. Compact the book block. If the book block is not compacted and compacted, the back glue will be brushed, and under the strong punching of the paper press of the paper cutter during trimming, the back of the book will wrinkle due to the compression deformation. Therefore, after binding the tightly packed book block, after applying adhesive (such as PVA polyvinyl alcohol synthetic resin glue), the book spine will thicken and become weak due to a certain amount of swelling after the back suction of the book, so the pressure should be used first. The book machine is compacted, and then the cover is pasted on the machine bag so that the spine is tight and prevents back wrinkles caused by pressure deformation.

2. After binding, the wool should be padded so that the paper press does not press against the spine and the spine is not compressed and wrinkled. Placing a pad is to place a scrap book on top of each stack of books, which is about 8mm smaller than the size of the book. If the finished product specification of the book is 146mm x 208mm, the waste specification for the mat should be 138 x 208mm. When cutting the sky or the foot of the book, align the pad book with the incision of the stack book so that the mat The book does not come in contact with the spine, and the spine is not pressed when the paper press is dropped. After cutting, the book back can achieve a flat and beautiful effect.
