1.3 Mathematical Model of Coating Film Uniformity

The effect of the hologram is directly related to the surface condition of the coating film (film thickness, refractive index, smoothness, etc.), and for this reason, the factors influencing the optical density change of the coating film are examined. Substituting Eqs. (2) and (3) into Eq. (1) from Eq. (3), the derivatives of x and t are obtained respectively. Thus, the expression of optical density changes dD/D is:

Equation (4) or (5) is a mathematical model that describes the uniformity of a coated holographic coating. From this we can see the various basic factors affecting uniformity. If these influencing factors can be simulated by themselves, these factors can be quantified to compare the magnitude of the impact and to help reduce or eliminate the influence of adverse factors.
