Food gas-control plastic wrap

Hercules Corporation of the United States uses a new food cling film, which is a packaging material made from a new type of polymer film. Using a thin film with tiny pores, the membrane can control the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the package, maintain an optimal atmosphere that can slow the respiration of fruits and vegetables, and can also be used as a label to directly cover the vent of a sealed container. Optimal atmosphere control within the package is achieved by combining the proper packaging materials with the characteristics of the fresh food.
