A research team at the Matsushita Memorial Hospital in Japan recently successfully extracted antibodies from the eggs that can kill H. pylori. The researchers used this antibody as a raw material to make yogurt that kills Helicobacter pylori in humans.
Helicobacter pylori can cause gastric ulcers in the human body. According to the Yomiuri Shimbun, the researchers injected hens with Helicobacter pylori antigen and found that after 3 months, the hens produced eggs containing the corresponding antibodies. Dr. Yamagen used a centrifuge to remove antibodies from the egg yolk and processed it into liquids or powders. After that, 2 g of the liquid containing the antibodies was added to 120 g of yoghurt. 120 Japanese and Koreans consumed the yogurt twice a day. The test results after 3 months proved that the H. pylori infection in the body of the drinking antibody yoghurt was reduced by an average of half compared with that of the yogurt-free yogurt.
