In recent years, chlorophyll fluorescence technology has become ubiquitous in the study of plant physiology and ecology. Without chlorophyll fluorescence data, field photosynthesis data of plants are no longer complete photosynthesis research data. With the development of portable fluorometers, this trend has become more apparent in the research field (Kate Maxwell et al., 2000).
The LCPro-SD portable photosynthesis meter is an intelligent portable photosynthesis meter used to measure the photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, stomatal conductance and other parameters related to plant photosynthesis. The instrument uses IRGA (infrared gas analysis) CO2 analysis module and dual laser tuning fast response water vapor sensor to accurately measure the changes of CO2 concentration and moisture on the leaf surface to investigate the photosynthesis related parameters of the leaf and plant. The artificial light source, CO2 control unit and temperature control unit can precisely regulate the environmental conditions at the same time, thereby measuring the effects of light intensity, CO2 concentration and temperature on the plant photosynthetic system. This instrument can be used in harsh environments such as high humidity and high dust, and has wide applicability.
The measurement parameters include photosynthesis rate, transpiration rate, intercellular CO2 concentration, stomatal conductance, leaf temperature, leaf chamber temperature, photosynthetic effective radiation, air pressure, etc., and photoresponse curve and CO2 response curve measurement can be performed.
FluorPen FP100 hand-held chlorophyll fluorometer is used for rapid measurement of plant chlorophyll fluorescence parameters in the laboratory, greenhouse and field. It has the characteristics of strong portability, high accuracy and high cost performance; two-key operation, with graphic display, built-in lithium battery and data storage, It is widely used to study plant photosynthesis, stress monitoring, herbicide detection or mutant screening, and can also be used for biological detection of ecotoxicology, such as chlorophyll fluorescence response of different plants to soil or water pollution to find sensitive plants as organisms. The sensor is used for biological detection. FP100 is equipped with a variety of leaf clip models for different samples and research.
