As one of the output devices, bar code printers are widely used in the industries of Shangchao, clothing, logistics and so on. However, in the process of use, it is often encountered that the barcode printer is always lit red and cannot print the barcode. In the case where the bar code printer is always lit red, we analyze the reasons why this problem may occur: 
Reason one:
The printer's sensor does not sense the paper or does not sense the ribbon
Reason two:
The barcode printer is not tightly closed. Generally, when installing bar code printer consumables, if the installation is not tight, the bar code printer will always appear red.
Reason three:
The ribbon or label is not properly installed and the barcode printer will continue to light red.
Reason four:
When changing the printer printing consumable material, forget to change the print driver to the corresponding print mode.
In view of the above reasons for the occurrence of a bright red light, in order to avoid the case where the barcode printer is always lit red, it cannot be printed. We have summarized the following solutions.
1. Install the ribbon, label, and other consumables correctly and close the barcode printer.
2. Check if the consumables in the barcode printer are running out in advance. If there are not many left, install new consumables in advance.
3. The printing mode is divided into thermal transfer mode and thermal mode. The former is generally used to print coated paper with ribbon, and the latter is mainly for printing thermal paper. When replacing the print material, you need to change the print mode of the printer driver to the corresponding print mode.
4. The printer's sensor does not sense the paper or does not sense the ribbon. When the machine needs to re-measure the paper, first turn off the printer power, press and hold the PAUSE button on the printer, then turn it on, wait until the printer is out of paper. Open your hand and see if the printer has retracted action. If not, try the above method several times repeatedly until the printer has retracted. If you have tried this repeatedly, you can start the machine first, then turn off the PAUSE and FEED buttons simultaneously, until the three indicators on the printer flash at the same time, then release the hand, then press the start method to detect Lower the paper until there is a retraction action.
