Chlorine-free papermaking method for reducing pollution and protecting the environment

Nippon Paper & Paper Co., Ltd. will build the first paper mill to use chlorine instead of chlorine as a bleaching agent during the year, which may reduce the emissions of highly toxic dioxins to a minimum.
According to the information provided by the company, in order to protect the environment, the company decided to use "chlorine-free papermaking", which uses ozone instead of chloride for pulp bleaching. The scale of this "ozone-bleaching" paper mill is 520 tons of pulp per day. The ozone generator produces 120 kg of ozone per day and can completely replace the amount of chloride.
