Kimberly-Clark introduces new gauze

The United States Kimberly-Clark recently introduced a new type of medical gauze that can be used as a substitute for medical gauze. Its raw materials are cellulose pulp (such as wood pulp) of plants and coagulants that promote coagulation and precipitation of fiber pulp.

The product has good air permeability, can effectively prevent the intrusion of bacteria after sterilization, and the barrier property of the bacteria is better than the coarse cotton gauze. It is expected that this new type of medical gauze will be widely used in the field of medical care and food packaging where asepsis or hygienic conditions are required.
